Today’s Liberals are Not Really Liberals

Let’s get this straight! Today’s so-called liberals are far from the classic liberals we knew from fifty years ago. The liberals today are in the far-left, more properly referred to as “progressives.” Progressives have been the ones responsible from the beginning of the Constitutional United States for a gradual departing from the Constitution itself until today we are rapidly destroying it.
“Classical liberalism (also known as traditional liberalism[1], laissez-faire liberalism[2], and market liberalism[3] or, outside Canada and the United States, sometimes simply liberalism) is a form of liberalism stressing individual freedom, free markets, and limited government. This includes the importance of human rationality, individual property rights, natural rights, the protection of civil liberties, individual freedom from restraint, equality under the law, constitutional limitation of government, free markets, and a gold standard to place fiscal constraints on government[4] as exemplified in the writings of John Locke, Adam Smith, Ludwig von Mises, David Hume, David Ricardo, Voltaire, Montesquieu and others. As such, it is the fusion of economic liberalism with political liberalism of the late 18th and 19th centuries.[2] The "normative core" of classical liberalism is the idea that laissez-faire economics will bring about a spontaneous order or invisible hand that benefits the society,[5] though it does not necessarily oppose the state's provision of some basic public goods with what constitutes public goods being seen as very limited.[6] The qualification classical was applied retroactively to distinguish it from more recent, 20th-century conceptions of liberalism and its related movements, such as social liberalism.[7] Classical liberals are suspicious of all but the most minimal government[8] and object to the welfare state[9].
(Above numbers refer to sources of the wikipedia article.

Our recent progressive presidents were Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and presently, Barack Obama. President Obama is, according to the Russian Newspaper, Pravda, is bringing Marxism to the U.S. with amazing speed.
It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. Read article in Pravda.

Progressives are supported by unions, gays, feminists, pro-abortionists, and promote universal health care, radical environmental programs, and a strong central government.
Classical Liberals? No way. They are radical far-left progressives that want to destroy Capitalism and replace it with Socialism, pure and simple. Along with this change, they will gain total control of our lives from the time we rise until the time we retire at night. It seems like we saw this before in the former Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, and presently in the Islamic nations.

MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” spewing out the network’s bias against Sarah Palin

Rick’s Musings---

Yesterday, June 16, 2009, on the Ed (Schultz) Show on MSNBC, I viewed one of the worst examples of hate toward Sarah Palin, and hypocrisy, I have seen in a long time. On the show, Ed had two guests, Susan Molinari, and Stephanie Miller.

Ed played a snippet of the Late Show with David Letterman’s apology, and then across the screen rolled, in print, Sarah Palin’s acceptance of that apology. Ed graciously complemented Letterman on his apology and in the next breath–fire eating dragon breath–attacked Sarah Palin’s statement as being disingenuous and strictly political. Stephanie Miller, a progressive (spell extreme leftist), spewing out similar hatred, agreed with him; she said Palin was at fault by putting her children out there–a liberal cop out, and she had to add a sarcastic statement about Bill O’Reilly causing Dr. Tiller’s Death. Susan, on the other hand, explained Palin’s statement included all women, not just her family, and that her remarks were both political and personal and she said it was a good thing she spoke out as she did.

I keep hearing from the right that the media is biased toward conservative women. I am a little slow to judge, but I watch all cable news channels and after hearing the other day from Rachel Maddow, I can now agree with them. MSNBC is biased. Ed Schultz is biased, a radical leftist, disingenuous, and certainly a hypocrite. It was nice seeing you when you lost your cool, Ed. You would be the last person I would want as a neighbor.

In conclusion, it’s not about Sarah Palin. It’s about debasing women and giving tacit approval to the statutory rape of teenagers, and the bias and hypocrisy about some of the news media. The National Organization of Women is now in the fray and this type of hypocrisy is finally coming out of the closet and into the light of day. When the light is turned on, the cockroaches scatter.

As Christians, we must not follow their demeanor, but to be ready to forgive and to pray for them. Those who support abortion support the culture of death and they are in a dark place and the light infuriates them. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (New American Standard Bible ©1995).

The real problem with David Letterman’s tasteless joke about Willow, Sarah Palin’s daughter

On the June 9th Late Show, David Letterman told a joke that insulted the Palin family and rocked the sensibilities of women, mostly conservative women throughout the US. He said, "One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez". Palin and her 14 year old daughter Willow attended a Yankee game while they were in New York.

A lot of argument have surfaced in the media, the internet, in topix forums, and in public discussions. It seems that most of those who object to the tasteless joke miss the real problem.

Andrea Tantaros, a conservative Republican political commentator, said on the Fox Forum: “A growing trend seems to be emerging. From Perez Hilton to Playboy’s “Conservative Women Hate List” to David Letterman’s lewd comments about Sarah Palin, it appears that attacking women – specifically conservative women – is not only all the rage, but oddly, acceptable.”

In the article, she also stated, “The more acceptable it becomes to express violent, crass language against women in the public arena the more you can expect our country to fray at the seams.” Read Article.

This is getting closer to the problem. Under the protection of the First Amendment on free speech, Not only comedians, but public officials, reporters, bloggers, and others are now maligning, insulting, and libeling others publicly with impunity. It is now fair game to call women “slutty females,” “hos,” “bitches,” and whatever they have a mind to. It is now fair game to tell dirty and filthy jokes about whomever a person wishes, especially against conservative women. Only public opinion in some cases, as in the case with Don Imus On April 4, 2007, during a discussion about the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, he slandered the Rutgers University women's basketball team by referring to them as"nappy-headed hos" He was suspended due to a public outcry.

Tantaros is right. If this continues, we will see disrespect for women, and eventually anyone, increase to the point where our country will “fray at the seams.” It seems like this is already happening. Telling filthy jokes and libeling others should always be wrong.

By the way, Alex Rodriguez, where were you when Letterman joked about you knocking up Palin’s daughter? If I were you, I believe I would sue him for slander. We haven’t heard a peep out of you.

Darwin-loving museum shooter hates Bible, Christians

Suspect in death of security guard defies easy stereotyping

James von Brunn, the man who allegedly shot and killed a guard at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., was a Darwin-lover who hated the Bible and Christians, and defies media efforts to classify him as a stereotypical "right-winger," according to reports.

The Moonbattery blog revealed von Brunn advocated the socialist policies espoused by Adolf Hitler and used Darwinian theory to support his anti-Semitism. Read Article.

Yet when we read the progressive blogs, they refer to Brunn as a Right Wing Terrorist, to deliberately identify him with anti-abortion pro-lifers, those who support marriage as between one man and one woman, gun owners, and others who hold conservative and Christian principles.

It is a deliberate lie of the left. But no wonder. John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

So are the lies from the left.

A pro-life position is not a one-issue position as the left would like for naive Americans to believe. The same people that are pushing abortion, a strong central government, high taxes, etc., are the same ones who would take away our Second Amendment rights, and eventually the right of free speech. They want no interference in their socialistic plans for America.

Pro-Choice Hate Speech Directed Toward Bill O’Reilly

Commentary

I follow other pro-life and pro-constitutional blogs, and I’ve noticed some of the same hateful comments to them from pro-abortion supporters as some comments that have responded to some of my articles. I have it set up so that it automatically comes to my blog email first and I have the opportunity to either accept it or reject it. I’ve had to reject a large portion of them due to hateful language, even foul language directed to public officials dedicated to saving the lives of the pre-born. These folks are livid with hate for those who have dedicated their lives to save the little ones, i.e., the unborn, who have no one else to intervene for them.

Many are angry with me for supporting Phill Kline in his bid for election to the District Attorney position in Johnson County, Kansas in 2008. In fact, I’ve gotten some hate mail because of articles I’ve posted supporting Kline. I read where they are angry with others who defend Kline. Some list all local office-holders who are pro-life whom they also hate. I know Mr. Kline and he is a down to earth man of integrity whose reputation they have all but destroyed with deliberate lies against him.

Now, they are trying to destroy Bill O’Reilly of the Fox News Network by claiming his remarks about Dr. George Tiller in the past has incited Roeder to murder the abortion doctor. I have not read so much invective and hate from those who overlook the 60,000 fetuses Tiller has prevented from being born and living out their lives as those do who approve abortion. I watch the news on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and FOX. I listen to O’Reilly nightly and have not heard him incite anyone to violence against any abortion doctor. Accusation against him come from those who support abortion-on-demand and want no one to oppose abortion. When the light is turned on, the cockroaches scatter. They don’t like anyone who reveals evil, and abortion-on-demand is an evil practice.

I have recently followed several topix net subject dealing with abortion and Tiller’s assassination. I wish to make it clear that this was murder and the killer should be punished to the strictest sense of the law. Murder is wrong whether to the living or to the unborn. Some of the pro-choice, aka pro-abortion, do not really believe in choice, but abortion-on-demand as a form of birth control. Many respond to pro-life posters as “pro-life taliban,” “idiots,” “anti-abortionists” (yes, this one is okay), “anti-abortion or anti-choice terrorists,” and foul words I do not wish to post here. This shows an intolerant attitude toward those who disagree with them and call abortion, “murder.” Most use pseudo names. One calls himself “Conservative Democrat.” His posts indicate he is a Democrat, but certainly not a conservative. A woman calls herself “feminist,” which certainly says a lot about her posts.

Big-minded people discuss ideas and issues, and petty, small minded people discuss people and call names. In psychology, this is explained as a device to make you look bigger in your own eyes by demeaning others. Maybe name-callers have a low self-esteem they are trying to hide. Sooner or later, they will discover it does not work and will make them more negative. They will come to hate everything they do not agree with. You see this daily, especially on “The Daily Kos,” and “The Huffington Post,” which many pro-abortionists and others on the left read.

Which brings up a point. So many nay-sayers are in the world today. They have no good thing to say about the economy, our leaders, other races, religions, even themselves. They demonize O'Reilly and others who shine the light on their culture of death activities. They are unhappy people. Some have bad home situations, financial problems, impossible work situations, and at the end of the day, they lose themselves in watching TV, getting bombed out, or being involved in some other escapism. And many of them develop insomnia and their health slowly deteriorates.

There is an answer. But they don’t want to turn to the One who expects respect and even obedience. They won’t turn to the One who can help them solve their problems and put them on the right track mentally, physically, and spiritually. I heard a testimony on the radio several months ago by a young woman who hit bottom and turned to God for help. Her life has turned around. Maybe some of the nay-sayers will soon find that help. It is hoped so.

June 4, 2009

Bel Air, MD (LifeNews.com) -- A federal judge in Maryland has sided with pro-life advocates who have filed a lawsuit against State Police, Harford County, and the city of Bel Air. The case involves an Alliance Defense Fund lawsuit on behalf of pro-life women who were shackled and strip searched after peacefully protesting abortion in Maryland.

The incident involves a group of pro-life advocates who, in August 2008, were arrested without warning by Hartford County State Troopers during their multi-city protest featuring abortions signs.

At least a dozen police officers arrived in more than seven marked vehicles and then arrested, jailed, shackled, and strip searched them. Read Full Story Here.
