(CNSNews.com) – According to its latest annual report, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) received $487.4 million in tax dollars over a twelve-month period and performed 329,455 abortions.

In addition, the number of adoption referrals made by the organization continued to decline.

The latest annual report covers the period from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, the PPFA’s fiscal year. The report states that the organization received “government health services grants and reimbursements” totaling $487.4 million.

Previous Planned Parenthood annual reports showed total funding from “government grants and contracts” (which were $363.2 million in 2009), while this year’s report also accounts for payments from Medicaid managed care plans among the payments the group receives from government. Yesterday, I read a commentary written by Jack Cashill in the American Thinker, that encompasses my opinion of the Kansas City Star, as much as anything I”ve read lately. Excerpts of the piece follows:

The story that follows has taken place in and around Kansas City. But it could have unfolded in any city in which a stealthily leftist publication has a near monopoly on the production and distribution of news -- in other words, just about every city in America.

"Monsignor backed the four altar boys up against the wall, "shoulder to shoulder." writes Judy Thomas of the Kansas City Star. "Then he forced them to perform sexual acts on each other and on him."

"If you ever tell," the monsignor reportedly warned the boys, "you'll be kicked out of the Catholic Church, your parents will disown you, and you'll die and go to hell."

So begins Thomas's ultra-Gothic, front-page series, "The Altar Boys' Secret," served up by the Star just in time for Christmas.

Although the Catholic League has accused Thomas of "anti-Catholic bigotry," the accusation is too narrow. A local evangelical leader has more precisely identified the Star's larger goal, namely the "the destruction of the Christian pillars that have stabilized the country for more than two centuries."American Thinker.

I have followed the fight between former Kansas Attorney General, and later Prosecutor for Johnson County, Kansas, Phill Kline, against Planned Parenthood and the Tiller Clinic in Wichita. I have read an many accounts from the Kansas City Star, as well as the Wichita Eagle, as time provided, and I have compared the so-called facts against what I know has happened.

Abortion, according to the Supreme Court decision handed down in Roe V Wade in 1973, was made ‘legal’ after which we have had around 50,000 abortions in the United States. Kansas Abortion law provides for no abortions after a fetus reaches viability. According to Kansas Law KSA 65-6701 (k) "Viable" means that stage of gestation when, in the best medical judgment of the attending physician, the fetus is capable of sustained survival outside the uterus without the application of extraordinary medical means. Kansas and several other states use 20 weeks, after which an abortion can not be performed, unless other critical life-threatening conditions are present.

Phill Kline filed charges against both George Tiller, a Kansas abortion provider, and Planned Parenthood for performing abortions past the twenty week limit. The clinics at times ‘estimated’ the number of weeks the women were pregnant, added so-called mental reasons for abortions. He also charged them for not reporting statutory rape involved in teens younger than sixteen being made pregnant by older men, some in their twenties. In the two years 2002 and 2003, 166 girls 14-and-under had abortions at one of the two Kansas clinics.

In February 2011, Disciplinary Administrator Hazlett filed ethics charges against Phill Kline in order to protect Planned Parenthood from criminal prosecution, even though he was cleared of similar charges in May 2008. They wanted to make an example of him, not only to punish him for daring to file charges against abortion mill, but also to intimidate future law enforcement officers.
Topeka , February 2011, — Former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline sought Tuesday to rebut a key allegation in an ethics complaint against him, testifying during a hearing that he did not aim to identify adult patients of the late Dr. George Tiller during an investigation of the Wichita abortion provider.

Kline said instead he was trying to identify child victims of sexual abuse and anyone traveling with them when he subpoenaed records from a hotel near Tiller's clinic. It was his second day of testimony before a three-member panel of the state Board for the Discipline of Attorneys, which will recommend to the Kansas Supreme what, if any, sanctions Kline should face over the complaint.

The complaint alleges Kline and his subordinates mishandled abortion patients' medical records and misled other officials while investigating Tiller's clinic and a Planned Parenthood clinic in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park. Kline, who investigated the clinics as attorney general from 2003 to 2007 and as Johnson County district attorney from 2007 to 2009, vigorously disputes those allegations. It seemed that every time new false allegations against Kline emerged, the Kansas City Star would publish an editorial besmirching Kline’s character. Mr. Cashill sums it up later in his article:

When then Attorney General Phill Kline tried to expose the abortion clinics' ongoing cover-up, Star editors fought his efforts with such zeal that in 2006 Planned Parenthood bestowed its top national editorial honor on the paper. Oblivious to the hypocrisy of it all, the Star continues to resist attempts to make the clinics report child rape. Source.

The Kansas City Star, along with other liberal, anti-Christian, pro-abortion print media, have long since left their original status as the fourth estate, being a watchdog against corrupt government, and now persecuting those who dare to be against their support of corruption, becoming corrupt themselves. Their actions, along with the actions of a corrupt group of elected and appointed officials, show clearly that abortion is a part of the culture of death–resorting to lies and the destroying of anyone who stands in their way for the right to kill pre-born children. They owe former Attorney General Phill Kline a public apology for their public damage against his reputation.

Open records received by Operation Rescue from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment raise more questions than they answer about the sebelis-planned-parenthood-record-shredding-scandal-gets-worse recent revelation that documents containing critical evidence against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri were shredded under the Sebelius Administration.

Operation Rescue asked the agency for a broad range of documents and communications between KDHE and Planned Parenthood and/or the office of former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who now serves as President Obama’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

KDHE provided a scant number of documents reflecting an e-mail request from Planned Parenthood’s Sheila Kostas asking for information listed on Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) forms was made on August 10, 2005. Following the disappearance of crucial records involved in the prosecution of Kansas City's Planned Parenthood, a pro-life organization is making demands for open records.

During a preliminary hearing, Planned Parenthood attorneys told the court the records disappeared during a routine purge of files (see earlier story). But Operation Rescue's Cheryl Sullinger says that is suspicious because they went missing before the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's scheduled two-year cleaning.

"Those records had been under subpoena in 2004, and for them to be destroyed a few months later in 2005 while they were under subpoena in a criminal investigation is really, it's an improper destruction of records to say the least," she contends. Read more at OneNewsNow.

Olathe, KS — In light of the destruction of evidence that was critical to the prosecution of a Kansas Planned Parenthood on , Judge Stephen Tatum has delayed a preliminary hearing today and set a status conference for November 9 at 11 AM.

Last week news broke that that the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) under the Administration of former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius after they had been subpoenaed by then-Attorney General Phill Kline in 2004 in his investigations of the non-reporting of child sex abuse and illegal late-term abortions. Those forms were the basis for 23 felony charges against Planned Parenthood related to manufacturing evidence.

Today, attorneys for Planned Parenthood made a motion for dismissal of those felony counts since the original records had been destroyed. Judge Tatum declined and gave District Attorney Steve Howe until the status conference on November 9 to provide the court with a chain of custody in order to allow copies of the abortion reports obtained through subpoena to be used as evidence if the case proceeds to trail.

“It is unconscionable that Sebelius’ KDHE destroyed those documents knowing they had been subpoenaed for a criminal investigation,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “That willful destruction of evidence was a blatant act to protect Planned Parenthood from being held accountable to the law. Those who ordered that evidence be destroyed should be held accountable for obstruction of justice in a court of law.”

Judge Richard Anderson had informed Kline’s successor, Paul Morrison, that he believed the KDHE reporting forms in Planned Parenthood’s records were manufactured. After that, Morrison issued a letter “clearing” Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing. Morrison that attempted to disgorge them of the evidence against Kansas’ largest abortion supplier, knowing the evidence incriminated Planned Parenthood. Anderson later expressed regret for having informed Morrison, who in turn may have tipped off Planned Parenthood that their attempt to cover their crimes had been found out.

Morrison was hand-picked by Sebelius to run against Kline in 2006. It is estimated that over a million dollars of abortion money flowed in off the books to benefit Morrison’s vicious campaign against Kline. Morrison had promised to end the abortion clinic investigations. Less than a year after Morrison was sworn in as Attorney General, news broke that Morrison was embroiled in a sex and abortion scandal where it was discovered that he had attempted to use his illicit lover in the District Attorney’s office to spy on Kline’s abortion investigations that proceeded during his term as Johnson County District Attorney so Morrison could thwart them. Morrison was forced to resign.

Sebelius then appointed Steve Six as Attorney General. Soon after taking office in early 2008, Six discovered that Anderson and KDHE had been subpoenaed to testify about the manufactured records. He immediately rushed to the Kansas Supreme Court and obtained a gag order on Anderson and the evidence, delaying the case until now.

This case puts in danger $350 million in Federal Title X funding that the organization now receives nationwide. In order to qualify for Title X funds, an organization must obey all State and Federal laws. A conviction in Kansas would disqualify Planned Parenthood affiliates from receiving funding. Sebelius, who now serves as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Obama administration, has made it clear that tax funding of abortion and support for Planned Parenthood, her dedicated political supporter and contributor, is a high priority.

An ethics panel recently recommended indefinite suspension for Kline’s law license based on his handling of the abortion investigations even though the Supreme Court, District Court Judge Clark Owens, and even the Disciplinary Administrator’s own investigators cleared Kline of any wrongdoing. His prosecution was politically motivated to discredit the case he filed against Planned Parenthood. It contrast, an ethics complaint against Morrison, who behaved shamefully with his illicit lover in public buildings during business hours then became abusive of his paramour when she would not cooperate with is efforts to subvert Kline’s abortion investigations, was not pursued.

“This case hangs on a razor’s edge. Pro-abortion politicians have already wrongly ruined the career of one prosecutor who tried to enforce the law in order to protect Planned Parenthood’s interests. Now it remains to be seen if justice or corruption will prevail,” said Newman. Operation Rescue.

Former Kansas attorney general, Phill Kline, is entitled to a public apology from former governor and current Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius; Kansas disciplinary administrator, Stan Hazlett; former attorney general, Paul Morrison; Carol A. Beier, Kansas Supreme Court, and others; after which they should resign from their current positions, elected or appointed.

The country’s first criminal prosecution of Planned Parenthood was left teetering Friday when it was revealed the state of Kansas destroyed abortion records that prosecutors planned to use as evidence.

Johnson County prosecutors asked a judge to delay a Monday hearing to decide if there’s enough evidence to try Planned Parenthood on 23 felony counts of falsifying pregnancy termination reports.

Prosecutors say the records, which are central to making their case, were shredded sometime in 2005, roughly two years before charges were brought against Planned Parenthood by former Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline.

Reposted from and earlier blog date, and revised. I feel the need to again post what I find from the Holy Bible about abortion, a subject those who falsely tell us the Bible is silent about. The following verses explain God's presence before, during, and after the gestation period.

I read the opinions expressed on various Topix.net subjects, and when the subjects of abortion, pro-life, or pro-choice threads are posted, I notice a lot of people respond with their opinions. Occasionally, the threads last for several months, the interest is so high.

In response to another posters referring to the rights of the unborn, a pro-abortion poster responded with the comment, “What rights?” This poster often refers to comments opposing his ‘truth’ as ‘opinions.’

But another opinion exists, which makes his and my opinions of no value, if ours disagree with His. Whose opinion is this? It is God’s. So, let us see some of His opinions on the pre-born.

What did King David say under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit? Psalm 139:13-16: “For you created my inmost being: you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” We see that it is God, through his process of gestation, who created us in the womb.

Job 10:2, “Job 10:2, “I will say to God: Do not condemn me, but tell me what charges you have against me.” Verses 8-9, “Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?” It is God, through His laws–not evolution, who takes us from conception to birth. Verses 11-12, “clothe me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews? You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Verse 15, “Did not he [God] who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one [God] form us both within our mothers?”

Jeremiah 1:4-5, “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” [KJV]. God also creates and calls us for specific purposes.

Isaiah 49:1, “Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name.” Listen, everyone, He is saying to us. Verse 49:5, “And now the LORD says--he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD and my God has been my strength.” Again, we see, that God not only created Job in the womb, but for a specific purpose.

We were all created and called for service. I believe we are given the talents we have to work in various occupations to maintain an infrastructure for an orderly society. And some God calls for a specific job he has for them. Yet, some have put themselves in God’s shoes, to decide who lives and who dies. I do believe a day of reckoning is coming. Would it not be something if those who put the little ones to death before they take their first breath of life, whose first encounter after their own death would be to face the ones they killed? I do not know, but, it is something to think about.

Now, back to those who post their opinions in support of abortion. It would seem they really know that abortion is wrong, but they spend a lot of time to justify it. Could it be nagging on their consciences? Meanwhile, those of us who are pro-life are doing all we can to put a stop to this atrocious assault on the little ones, whose choice to live is denied by those who believe a woman has the right to put her choice before the baby’s.

Much of the evil in our society today, is based on our educators accepting and pushing evolution only, as a basis of education. Evolutionists reject Creation to be taught along with evolution, as when it is done, many students can see the holes in evolution. The Survival of the fittest allows evolutionists to consider the mother 'fittest' over the unborn. Abortion on demand is a horrible crime against the pre-born, and against humanity in general. It cauterizes the mind against this and other crimes, i.e., euthanasia--which many abortionists support, e.g., Terri Schiavo, statutory rape, & and other anti-life criminal acts.

A Kansas pro-abortion ethics panel recommends that former Kansas Attorney General’s law license be permanently suspended, as the abortion industry with the support of Democrats and other pro-abortion money continuing the witch hunt against Phill Kline. His crime: daring to be the only state Attorney General to dare to file charges against one of the darlings of the Democrat party, Planned Parenthood. TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — A professional ethics panel recommended Thursday that former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline have his state law license suspended indefinitely over his conduct during criminal investigations of abortion providers, saying he was "motivated by dishonesty and selfishness."

The three-member panel of the state Board for Discipline of Attorneys said Kline repeatedly misled other officials or allowed subordinates to mislead others, including a Kansas City-area grand jury, to further investigations of abortion providers. The panel also said Kline made a false statement to the office investigating the misconduct claims against him and even attempted to mislead the panel itself as it considered his case.

Kline has strongly disputed the allegations against him and called the complaint politically motivated.

"I upheld my duty, upheld my oath of office and the integrity of my profession," Kline said in a statement emailed to The Associated Press. "I will continue to speak and stand for the truth and for those who cannot speak for themselves." Read More.

The Democrats, pro-choice (aka pro-abortion) supporters will never forgive the one man who followed the law, and tried to prosecute the Tiller clinic and Planned Parenthood for failing to report cases of statutory rape of young girls who came into the clinics for abortions. Planned Parenthood will face an investigation by a House committee over alleged abuses that have come to light as the result of undercover investigations by the pro-life groups Live Action and Life Dynamics over the past dozen years.

Congressman Cliff Stearns (R-Florida), head of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, has called on the abortion giant to produce 13 years of records related to alleged abuses -- specifically "its use of federal funding and its compliance with federal restrictions on the funding of abortion." Planned Parenthood, in response, calls Stearns' investigation "politically motivated," "ideologically driven," and a "misuse of political power."

National Right to Life Committee executive director David O'Steen notes that Planned Parenthood receives several hundred million tax dollars each year.

"We've seen a pattern [that] as their funding increases, the number of abortions they provide are increasing," he shares. TOPEKA, Kan. — An administrative judge in Washington, D.C., has ruled that Phill Kline was retaliating against a senior Johnson County prosecutor when he fired her in April 2007 after he took over as the county's district attorney.

Kline, who was Kansas attorney general from 2003 to 2007 before being defeated by Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison, was appointed to Morrison's D.A. post after he left state office. A few months later, he fired Jacqie Spradling, a 15-year prosecutor in that office who was section chief of the domestic violence unit.

In that role, Spradling supervised four attorneys and three interns, handled more than 400 cases and supervised nearly 2,000 cases in 2006, while also prosecuting homicide cases.

The Democrats, pro-choice (aka pro-abortion) supporters will never forgive the one man who followed the law, and tried to prosecute the Tiller clinic and Planned Parenthood for failing to report cases of statutory rape of young girls who came into the clinics for abortions. The news on the pro-life, versus the pro-abortion, uh excuse me, political correct police, I mean pro-choice, which means a woman has the choice to take her unborn baby’s life. Make no mistake about it, the fetus, a live baby prior to birth, is alive, and if left to term, will be born a live baby human being. What I notice from the news is that those officials and loud-mouths who promote pre-born infanticide, pro-choice, which is pro-abortion, are also the same ones who promote the teaching of evolution only in our schools according to the science-standards, as set up by the state board of education. They can not afford to acknowledge a God who holds them accountable.

Evolution teaches Survival of the Fittest. The woman choosing to abort her child, must believe that her choice, as the fittest, is superior to the choice of the unborn, the unfit. Darwin taught the theory of Natural Selection, which teaches us that, as life ‘evolves, "natural selection," picks out the fit alone, to survive and to reproduce. Now, let me think about that for a minute. Am I right in thinking that the pregnant woman has more right to decide the life or death of her unborn, than the unborn itself, who is thought of being unfit, and has no choice at all? That is one reason we, as pro-lifers, have taken on the responsibility of ‘choosing’ for the unborn, to have life.

Interesting also, natural selection is responsible for the growing support of euthanasia, however not called that, but the pc crowd calls it the right of each one of us to choose when to die, as we saw in the Terry Schiavo case. It never was determined for sure whether is was indeed her choice or her estranged husband who was living in adultery with another woman. As we see in some countries in Europe, there is a progression (Natural Selection, anyone?), that we begin with abortion, then progress to voluntary euthanasia, then–as some are now suggesting, mandatory euthanasia for the elderly, who are sick with no chance of recovery. Some are also suggesting this in the United States.

Those who reject creation as a basis for education, promote all of the above, and in addition, support pornography under the guise of free speech. (Studies have proved a connection between pornography, adultery, and pedophilia). Gay marriage is supported under the mis-application of civil rights amendments. Will we soon see legalized plural marriages, bestiality, man-boy relationships? According to the history of nations that have gone down this path–yes!

It is not only important–but mandatory–that we return to creation by God as the basis for our education. We need to register. We need to vote. Some need to run for public office. We must be involved!

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is under attack for refusing to allow members of the clergy to play a role in the city’s commemoration of the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

Bloomberg insists the ceremonies should focus on the families of those killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center. He is also barring political speech. But pastors and politicians are lining up to lambast his decision, reports The Wall Street Journal.

In Feb. and March Kline faced eight days of hearings on Count I for allegations of violations of Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct dealing with his investigations as Attorney General and Johnson County District Attorney of abortion clinics in Kansas. That matter has not yet been decided by the hearing panel.

On Tuesday a new round of hearings started on a Count II related to allegations that Kline misled a Grand Jury impaneled in Johnson County in late 2007 to investigate Planned Parenthood in Overland Park. That Grand Jury ended its investigation in March 2008 without any indictments.

Stephanie Hensel, who now lives in Colorado but had served as the grand jury foreperson, filed an attorney ethics complaint against Kline because she believed Kline’s office mislead the grand jury over which statutes should be enforced in which way.

The case with 107 charges against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri was the subject of a motions hearing today concerning whether or not the public may be allowed to see evidence that Planned Parenthood committed illegal late-term abortions and then manufactured documents to cover up their crimes.

The charges, initially filed by former state attorney general Phill Kline, allege the abortion business potentially engaged in illegal abortions and violated state record-keeping laws. Kline, as the then Johnson County District Attorney, filed 107 charges, including 23 felonies, against the abortion business for allegedly violating state law.

The case has been assigned to Chris McMullin who serves as Asst. Attorney General and Assistant Johnson County District Attorney. After today’s hearing, a preliminary hearing on the charges has been set for late October. Read More in Lifenews.com.

It has been about two years since accusations of “death panels” began dogging Democratic lawmakers, and the charge persists as the health reform boogeyman.

In January, the Department of Health and Human Services was forced to retreat from a regulation that would reimburse for “advance care” counseling, and Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) tarred the Independent Payment Advisory Board with a related accusation.

IPAB, the panel that will revise Medicare policies if costs rise too fast, Gingrey said, is “where a bunch of bureaucrats decide whether you get care, such as continuing on dialysis or cancer chemotherapy. I have already been a victim of the 'death panel' shadow. I have bone cancer and was turned down for my pre-existing condition. The insurance company that turned me down said that only children with pre-existing health problems would be allowed to have medical insurance. I finally found insurance to supplement my medicare, but they charged me with a $500.00 yearly deduction. The Democrats lied to me. But then, why should anyone be surprised?

The NAACP is not happy with a new campaign sponsored by a black pro-life advocate that has new billboards placed in Atlanta, Georgia with the message “Abortion Enslaves Us” and “The 14th Amendment Made Us Members. Abortion Dismembers.”

The campaign is the brainchild of Ryan Bomberger, the head of the Radiance Foundation and the billboards were set up to celebrate Juneteenth (June 19th) and the liberation of black Americans from the shackles of slavery. They are meant to “expose the epidemic of abortion.”

“The campaign invokes the Reconstruction Amendments and the abortion industry’s dependence upon certain persons being classified as property,” Bomberger explains. “The landmark Roe v. Well, believe it or not that’s what’s happening right now between President Obama and pro-lifers. And sorry, but Obama’s the snarling bad guy.

As we all probably know the Indiana legislature passed a bill defunding Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant. And thankfully, Governor Mitch Daniels signed the bill.

That’s kind of a big deal because other states may gear up to do the same. Planned Parenthood doesn’t like that and sued Indiana of course but more importantly, they instructed their political arm, the Democratic Party, to fight this tooth and nail. Big Abortion has instructed the Party of Death to make an example of Indiana to ensure that no other states dare to defund Planned Parenthood. Read More

It Is Time for The Church To Repent

Christians today are being persecuted from many fronts: the movie industry, educational institutions, social institutions, federal and local governments, etc. Is this deserved persecution? Is the Church being blessed today?

Some statistics show that 80% of Americans claim to be Christians. What is a Christian? Is it one who claims to be or one who actually follows Christ? It is one who believes in the Christian worldview? The Barna Groups defines a Christian worldview this way:

For the purposes of the survey, a “biblical worldview” was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists; the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches; Satan is considered to be a real being or force, not merely symbolic; a person cannot earn their way into Heaven by trying to be good or do good works; Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth; and God is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world who still rules the universe today. In the research, anyone who held all of those beliefs was said to have a biblical worldview.

However, current research shows that only 9% of all American adults have a biblical worldview. “Born again Christians,” the study discovered that they were twice as likely as the average adult to possess a biblical worldview. However, that meant that even among born again Christians, less than one out of every five (19%) had such an outlook on life.

The same questions were asked of respondents in national surveys by Barna in 1995, 2000 and 2005. The results indicate that the percentage of adults with a biblical worldview, as defined above, has remained unchanged for more than a decade. The numbers show that 7% had such a worldview in 1995, compared to 10% in 2000, 11% in 2005, and 9% now. Even among born again adults, the statistics have remained flat: 18% in 1995, 22% in 2000, 21% in 2005, and 19% today. Barna Group.

Many professing Christians today are addicted with pornography; couples live together without benefit of being married; gay Christians cohabit; cheat on their income taxes; divorce and remarry at the same rate as non-Christians; commit adultery; and commit other common offences, ie, sins, as their non-Christian neighbors today.

Can it be these are reasons the Church in general is not being blessed today? Has the New Testament Church failed to set the standards of righteous living as the Old Testament Church in the Wilderness, Israel, failed?

Scripture tells us in response to King Solomon’s prayer of dedication to the temple, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” [2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV].

Our land is sick and needs to be healed. Our political, social, financial, and spiritual lives need to be healed. The remedy is total repentance:

“If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land” [Leviticus 26:40-42].

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” [1 Peter 4:17-19 KJV].

Now we know what we have to do. We must pray daily for the Church to repent if we want our land to heal.

TOPEKA, Kansas, February 24, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Evidence entered into the Phill Kline ethics trial Wednesday revealed that state agencies had received reports of 249 abortions on children under the age of 15 years old between 2001-2003, but that abortion providers, who are mandatory reporters, had sent in only four reports of child sexual abuse.

Tom Williams, Kline’s chief investigator when he was attorney general (and later district attorney), said that he made the discovery in 2003 during a broader effort meant to tackle underreporting of child sexual abuse in the state.

Williams testified to a sworn affidavit, entered into evidence Tuesday, that abortion records from the Kansas Department of Health and Education (KDHE) showed an aggregate 249 “termination of pregnancy” reports on females under 15 years for 2001, 2002, and into 2003. Abortion providers are required by law to send reports to KDHE with statistical information surrounding the abortion (which does not include specific patient information.) I have kept a time log of this case from the time Kline was Kansas Attorney General until now. The contributions of the pre-born baby exterminators that put these corrupt politicians into office to protect Planned Parenthood and the then Dr. Tiller.

However, they still want to take away his law license, and intimidate any future public servant that would dare raise their legal objections to Planned Parenthood. Part 2--In 1870, The Fifteenth Amendment to the constitution, the Voting Rights Amendment was Ratified, Allowing Blacks to Vote in All Parts of the US

After the War Between the States, legislation provided for voting rights for blacks, but the acts did not pertain to the North and border states.

At the time of Ulysses S. Grant's election to the presidency in 1868, Americans were struggling to reconstruct a nation torn apart by war. Voting rights for freed blacks proved a big problem. Reconstruction Acts passed after the war called for black suffrage in the Southern states, but many felt the approach unfair. The Acts did not apply to the North. And in 1868, 11 of the 21 Northern states did not allow blacks to vote in elections. Most of the border states, where one-sixth of the nation's black population resided, also refused to allow blacks to vote. Pbs-American Experience.

Who originated the plan to resolve this issue? It was the Republicans in congress. After a lot of wrangling, the Fifteenth Amendment was passed by congress on February 26, 1869. The amendment was ratified by 17 Republican states, and rejected by 4 Democrat states in the South. However, congress had one trick up their sleeve. The Southern States had not yet been re-admitted to the union, and in order to be admitted, they had to ratify the amendment, which they eventually did by 1870.

However, as we see in my last post of April 6, The Southern Democrats formed the KKK to defeat the intent of the amendment, and did everything they could, legal or illegal, to deprive the newest citizens of the country to exercise their right to vote.

The Tuskegee Institute has recorded 3,446 lynchings of blacks and 1,297 lynchings of whites between 1882 and 1968.[1] Southern states created new constitutions between 1890 and 1908, with provisions that effectively disenfranchised most blacks, as well as many poor whites. People who were not permitted to vote were also not permitted to serve on juries, further excluding them from the political process.

African Americans mounted resistance to lynchings in numerous ways. Intellectuals and journalists encouraged public education, actively protesting and lobbying against lynch mob violence and government complicity in that violence. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), as well as numerous other organizations, organized support from white and black Americans alike. African-American women's clubs, such as the Association of Southern Women for the Prevention of Lynching, raised funds to support the work of public campaigns, including anti-lynching plays. I am sick and tired of the Big Lie of the Democrat Party, that they were behind civil rights and that they always have been. They also picture the Republican Party as always having been against civil rights. That is a deliberate lie! But what is the Truth?

The truth is as I stated in the previous paragraph. The Democrats have always been against the civil rights of the black man. In this and following articles, I will prove that by providing a time line that supports my contention.

I could go back farther than President Lincoln’s time, but I may do so later. To begin with, in April 16, 1862, President Lincoln signs a bill abolishing slavery in the District of Columbia. The vote in Congress is very interesting. The record shows 99% of Republicans voted yes; but 83% of the Democrats vote no.

In the following Democrat website, we find the following words:

“Democrats have a long and proud history of defending Civil Rights and expanding opportunity for all Americans.” Apparently in 1862, they had not yet gotten the word. Democrats.org.

The Thirteenth Amendment was added to the Constitution in 1865. It made slavery illegal in the United States. In 1868, the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, designed to protect citizen’s rights to freedmen, was ratified. This amendment became the heart of the civil right’s movement of the 1960s. It became an all-in-all for everyone and everybody’s assumed civil rights. Democrats jump on the amendment claiming it provides the right of everyone to do and to be everything the constitution does not provide for.

Southern Democrats not satisfied with the outcome of the War Between the States, create an organization to “punish” Republicans for freeing the slaves: The Klan is Created
The Ku Klux Klan started after the Civil War with a group of white Southerners who were very angry when the war ended. They were angry because the Blacks had won their freedom from slavery and they had lost their slaves. No more slavery meant their lives had changed and they felt threatened.

An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964.

The documentation has been assembled by David Barton of Wallbuilders and published in his book "Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White," which reveals that not only did the Democrats work hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations, they started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem. The Democratic Party identified itself as the "white man's party" and demonized the Republican Party as being "Negro dominated," even though whites were in control. Determined to re-capture the South, Southern Democrats "redeemed" state after state -- sometimes peacefully, other times by fraud and violence. President Barack Obama has nominated former Kansas Attorney General Stephen Six as a judge on the Federal Appeals Court in Denver. Six was involved in obstructing the prosecution of Planned Parenthood on 107 criminal charges and, according to some, tied the hands of the prosecutor in the 2009 criminal case against George Tiller.
Because of this, Operation Rescue opposes Six’s confirmation on the grounds that his political biases make him unfit to serve.

Six’s ascension to state office followed a contentious and scandal-ridden political battle over abortion, which continued unabated under his administration.

Six was appointed by former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, a rabid abortion supporter who was known for appointing ideological soul-mates to positions throughout the state government that would protect abortionists from accountability to the law. Six replaced Paul Morrison, who was hand-picked by Sebelius to run against then-Attorney General Phill Kline, for the purpose of halting his investigation into abortion clinics in Kansas. Morrison was forced to resign in disgrace after being caught in a sex and corruption scandal where he tried to use his illicit lover to spy on Kline’s abortion investigation for the purpose of derailing it. Several points in the quoted article relate to my last blog [posted below], concerning the deliberate persecution of former Kansas attorney general, Phill Kline. Six was appointed by Sebelius, knowing he would follow suit, and hinder the investigation of Planned Parenthood (Read my two related articles immediately below dated February 23, 2011, and March 13, 2011).

The pro-abortion officials, whose campaigns were supported by abortion forces, are attempting to bankrupt Phill Kline, and disbar his in punishment for 'daring' to file valid charges against the providers, and a warning to any future official who would deign to bring charges against them.

Karma sometimes requires a lot of patience. But, I have learned that what goes around comes around. The Kansas abortion crowd with all of its nefarious dealings, will be found out, and hopefully Phill Kline's good name will be cleared.

Former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline dropped a bombshell during a hearing today in a case involving pro-abortion pushback against the charges he filed against a Planned Parenthood abortion business.

The man who was the top pro-life attorney in the state of Kansas is in the middle of hearings on nine counts of alleged ethical violations before the Kansas Attorney Disciplinary Board. The trial is estimated to go on for two weeks and is the latest phase in a protracted, multi-year effort to distract from the 107 counts of wrongdoing, including 23 felonies, against a Johnson County, Kansas Planned Parenthood abortion center.

This persecution of Phill Kline even emanates from the highest court of Kansas, the Kansas Supreme Court, of which one pro-abortion justice, Carole Beier, an appointee of former pro-abortion Governor Sebelius, called for the ethics investigations against Kline.

A big supporter of Governor Sebelius, Planned Parenthood has friends on the high court. In fact, even before Kline filed his charges, Justice Carole Beier, a Sebelius appointee and former lawyer with the pro-abortion National Women’s Law Center, called for an ethics investigation of Kline.

Indeed, the Kansas high court is so inclined to wield its power on behalf of the abortion industry that it even silenced a fellow judge who agreed with Kline’s findings, barring his testimony.

Former Kansas prosecutor Phill Kline will face an ethics hearing on February 21, 2011, on politically-motivated charges that he acted improperly during his investigations of abortion clinics, even though recently released documents show that investigators for the Disciplinary Administrator cleared Kline of any wrong-doing in 2008.

In a Disciplinary Report filed with the Disciplinary Administrator on May 22, 2008, a team of investigators carefully looked into the trumped-up ethics charges against Kline. Their determination left no question that Kline did nothing improper to warrant further action.

The Planned Parenthood organization in the Kansas City area would stop at nothing to vent their anger at Mr. Kline. As the article presents, previous investigations into Phill Kline's activities have found no wrongdoing.

That was the driving force behind the voter registration drive by Acorn, resulting in massive voter fraud, which has so far been hidden by the liberal press, but will eventually be revealed. Nothing so massive can be hidden for long. Yet, they have plans for doing it again to get their own culture of death candidates elected.

The corruption of Acorn, the massive registering and vote fraud has been since revealed. The pro-abortion people in charge of Acorn have serious problems with integrity. And many of the pro-abortion Democrats see nothing wrong with Acorn’s methods. After all, they are of the same mind–the mind that believes the end justifies the means. This mind is in various state’s Democrat governors, secretaries of State, and Attorneys General, who are covering up and supporting voting fraud in their states.

It is the mind set supporting embryonic stem cell research, even though no positive results have emerged as with adult stem cell research. It is the mind-set behind granting the powerful and rich pornography industry protection behind the first amendment, which was designed to give church and the press freedom of religious and political expression. Pornography destroys thousands of lives each year through broken marriages, in which the wife becomes less and less the true object of the husband’s love as the one who becomes addicted to pornography turns to outside sources of sexual satisfaction, and in cases of where the individual becomes unstable and open to sexual criminal activity.

We now see the power of that central government in taking over our banking system and determining who should run our corporations, destroying our economy. They turn up their noses at the God-given gift of abundant oil under our soil, and buy from foreign sources, many who hate us. They condemn the use of coal, one of the cheapest and most economical way to heat our homes and run industry.

Next, this culture of death will attempt to take away the second amendment–our right to bear arms, and our freedom of speech, as they want no opposition. This is already happening in so-called hate crimes laws. And they are aided and abetted by the liberal news media, which has violated its fourth estate privileges of free speech by becoming a part of this pro-choice agenda.

The culture of death mind is a mind that is bent on death. In her Woman and the New Race, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, stated, The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it. She was involved in eugenics.

What some may not realize is that the same poisonous philosophy that infected Hitler also influenced Margaret Sanger. She said Charles Darwin observed "that we do not permit helpless human beings to die off, but we create philanthropies and charities, build asylums and hospitals and keep the medical profession busy preserving those who could not otherwise survive." Her view was that such philanthropies and charities were "ameliorative" at best, and that some so-called benevolences were "positively injurious to the community and the future of the race." The far majority of President Obama’s appointees are pro-choice, aka pro-abortion. The Culture of Death is pervasive, extending its tentacles into every facet of life, preparing our nation for a takeover by Marxists, the ultimate culture of death philosophy. The Planned Parenthood abortion clinic staffer who appears in a new undercover investigation video assisting two people who claim to be heading up a sex trafficking ring has been fired.

Late Tuesday night, Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey released a statement saying the staff person, Perth Amboy center clinic manager Amy Woodruff, would be let go.

“We were profoundly shocked when we viewed the videotape released this morning, which depicted an employee of one of our health centers behaving in a repugnant manner that is inconsistent with our standards of care and is completely unacceptable,” Phyllis Kinsler, executive director of the local affiliate, said a statement, according to NJ.com.

“We have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior, and the employee in the video was immediately suspended from her duties this morning and was terminated this evening,” Kinsler said. “We are fully committed to delivering high-quality reproductive health care to the women of our communities, complying with all laws, and upholding the highest ethical standards.” Read more at Lifenews.com.

A leading breast cancer researcher says abortion has caused at least 300,000 cases of breast cancer causing a woman’s death since the Supreme Court allowed virtually unlimited abortion in its 1973 case.

With tens of millions of abortions since the high court’s decision and research confirming abortion increases the risk of contracting breast cancer, undoubtedly a large number of breast cancer cases, caused by abortion, have occurred over the last 38 years.

Professor Joel Brind, an endocrinologist at Baruch College in New York, worked with several scientists on a 1996 paper published in the Journal of Epidemiol Community Health showing a “30% greater chance of developing breast cancer” for women who have induced abortions. Last week, mentally disturbed youth Jared Lee Loughner shot 20 people at a rally in Tucson, Ariz., including congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.). The left, led by Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, immediately capitalized on the bloody murders, stating without evidence that Loughner had been inspired by the "the anger, the hatred, the bigotry" of our current political climate. Over the course of the following days, Dupnik and his allies blamed talk radio, conservatives who spread "mistrust of government," Sarah Palin, Nevada senatorial candidate Sharron Angle and Rush Limbaugh. CBS News Poll: Americans Don’t Connect Rhetoric To Arizona Shooting

The debate over political talk and violence may be showing few signs of easing, but a CBS News poll out today finds most Americans–nearly 6 in 10–have concluded the rhetoric didn’t drive the shooter. News Source.

Apparently the so-called liberals, i.e., actually progressives, are not in the majority. News stories indicate that Loughner's troubles with the school and law enforcement are well known to law enforcement officials, including Sheriff Dupnik, who took front and center at a news conference, blaming conservatives rhetoric causing Loughner to become confused.

Sheriff Clarence Dupnik’s department was well aware of Jared Loughner’s mental instability and may have been slow to respond to death threats.His fellow lawmen in Arizona are appalled because all of the evidence so far suggests that the gunman is a deeply disturbed individual with no coherent political motives. “I just hope he’s not giving this 22-year-old an alibi by blaming talk radio,” Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told the Los Angeles Times.

Mr. Dupnik decided to personalize his comments yesterday when he went after Rush Limbaugh. “[Mr. Limbaugh] attacks people, angers them against government, angers them against elected officials,” he said. “And that kind of behavior in my opinion is not without consequences.” He told ABC News that he would like to see the federal government establish a commission to promote civility in the U.S.Sheriff Dupnik Misfires.

The truth is slowly coming out. Law enforcement friends of sheriff Dupnik are embarrassed by his uncalled for accusations of Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh.

It comes as no surprise to me that blogs and web sites of leftist, socialists, and progressive are blaming the Tea Party for the shooting massacre in Arizona, where 6 were killed, and 19 injured.

Is the blame orchestrated?

One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did. “They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.” Politico.com.

It would be interested to know who this Democrat is. And who was the shooter? He apparently had copies of The Communist Manisfesto, Mein Kampf, and marxist writings in his possession. Hardly Tea Party, yet watch and listen during the next few days and weeks when we will have these accusations jammed down our throats.

The Tea Party is "We the People." And who is their accuser? Those who would do away with our society and replace it with chaos leading to socialism, i.e., those on the far left. "You Never want a serious crisis go to waste" is what Rahm Emanuel said of the economic meltdown. And the Democrats are not letting this crisis go to waste. I have been reading blogs, web sites, and tv news this morning, and I've heard not only the Tea Party being blamed, but Second Amendment supporters, conservatives, Christians, And Sarah Palin, rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity personally named.

And we will continue to hear this for the next few weeks and months as the conservatives in congress return to their job of repealing laws the people did not want, but which were passed over their objections. As the Apostle Paul said, "Even so Lord Jesus, come." And soon, hopefully.

The ACLU has again asked the Obama administration to force Catholic and other religiously-affiliated hospitals to do abortions in cases where the mother’s life is supposedly in danger. Read article in LifeNews.Com

This followed an abortion performed by a Phoenix-based Catholic hospital. This action resulted in the revocation as a Catholic hospital by the bishop.

Here we have an organization which does not want anyone else, especially Christians, to do anything that offends anyone else, or to enforce their beliefs on others, that wants to enforce by law a hospital to perform abortions against their will. It seems like they are taking advantage of a poor decision made by the hospital in performing the abortion.

The ACLU, under the disguise of protecting the freedom of speech, is the one greatest impediment of the freedom of speech or freedom of conscience.

I look forward in the future for two things to happen. One, that someone with the means to sustain a long-running lawsuit against the ACLU to break it financially, and the subsequent dissolution of the ACLU. This organization has done the most moral damage against this country to date. They are responsible for much of the pornography that exists on the internet and in adult book stores, and the resultant child predators that are created as a result.

A federal judge issued a ruling today on a Virginia lawsuit against the ObamaCare health care law that allows abortion funding and he said the program is unconstitutional in part.

The ruling makes the district court the first federal court in the nation to strike down a portion of the ObamaCare law and it goes against rulings other courts have issued striking down other lawsuits.

The key issue in the complaint the state of Virginia filed is that the individual mandate in the law, requiring Americans to purchase health insurance (which may very well fund abortions) is unconstitutional and a violation of the power Congress has to regulate interstate commerce. This is something I have supported for years. Returning to the gold standard would solve many of our financial problems. Returning to the gold standard should also be accompanied with the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and dissolution of the Federal Reserve System. It would make borrowing much more difficult without proper need. It would make the money our our pockets real money, i.e., real value. These measures, along with term limits, would be instrumental in removing a lot of the temptation among our elected representatives toward corruption.

A group of Tea Party Leaders with cooperation of gay conservative groups sent a letter to GOP party leaders to ignore social issues, and to concentrate on what the voters put then in their for, e.g., to shrink the size of government and to reduce spending.

The letter is as follows:

"On behalf of limited-government conservatives everywhere, we write to urge you and your colleagues in Washington to put forward a legislative agenda in the next Congress that reflects the principles of the Tea Party movement," they write to presumptive House Speaker John Boehner and Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell in an advance copy provided to POLITICO.

What is this? This is not coming from My Tea Party! Since gay conservative groups are a part of this letter writing, I must assume that the social issues they are referring to are not about smoking, obesity, or jay walking! It is obvious they mean abortion and gay rights! And this is from a fringe group of the tea party, not the conservative tea party as a whole who mean to reestablish conservative family values.

They claim social issues were not discussed when the candidates were running for the offices which they eventually won. Like the devil, they weren’t! I, myself, heard social issues mentioned, like abortions being funded by taxpayer dollars, illegal immigration, restoring prayer in school, etc. None of the Democrats who supported ‘net neutrality’ survived the election. This was a social issue as well as political.

Yes! It was a mandate. But not for the Republican Party. It was a mandate to lower taxes, minimize the size of government, and return to constitutional government. This includes maintaining the traditional marriage between one man and one woman. It will include repealing Obamacare, eventually overturning Roe V. Wade, returning the authority to determine the legal definition of abortion back to the states, i.e. state’s rights under the Tenth Amendment.

The blogosphere will certainly be watching to see whether of not the Tea Party Backed Newbies will ignore social issues or not. Their voting records will be carefully scrutinized and when if any betray any conservative approach to an issue, they will hear from us and definitely in stereo! Among the greatest risks to young women today are the dangers inherent in reckless sexual activity. Arguably the results of society's recent brazenness towards sexuality, young adults today are frequently confronted with serious life choices because of their irresponsible sexual actions. Unfortunately, many confused young women turn to dangerous or immoral means when an unwanted pregnancy occurs. Under the liberal terms women's rights or pro choice, many young people continue to support a culture that accepts abortion and promiscuity but holds a curious stigma towards young mothers who acknowledge their mistakes, show respect towards life and give their children up for adoption. One of the most obvious influences guilty of promoting this immorality, hypocrisy and disregard for life are oral contraceptives.

Although extremely popular and contributing to the recent decline in teen pregnancy throughout the United States, these methods lead to unintended, serious consequences as well. Teens today tend to fixate on avoiding pregnancy and the attached stigmas, which these contraceptives are effective at doing because of a success rate around 99%. However, that narrow focus leads to the neglect of other serious consequences of unrestrained sexuality, like the blatant disregard of another's value as more than a sexual object. Indeed, these drugs have led to a corruption of relationships between young couples, with carnal pleasure replacing deeper, worthy forms of connection. These drugs have also spurred on the acceptance of grotesque sexuality and in this country, further attacking the ethical fiber of our nation each year.

The dangerous physical misconceptions about oral contraceptives are another major reason why these drugs are so treacherous. While pregnancy rates for unmarried young women in this country are declining, sexually transmitted disease rates continue to grow. Frighteningly, these drugs might actually be a contributing factor to this trend as teens protected from pregnancy are emboldened to have unprotected sex. The possibility that oral contraceptives might tempt young adults into believing they remain safe against what they mistakenly view as the most undesirable outcome of sex, pregnancy, is a yet another way these contraceptives are leading to the deterioration of our country.

However, manufacturers of these contraceptives themselves contribute to the misconceptions about their products, regularly failing to mention important details regarding their safety. One oral contraceptive producer, Bayer HealthCare, was even cited by the FDA for producing misleading television advertisements about its products. Promoting their product as a total quality-of-life improvement, the FDA found these ads further misled teens into choosing these drugs based on unproven claims. Furthermore, Bayer was also cited for substandard conditions in a plant its ingredients were manufactured in. However, the drug company’s annual multi-million dollar advertising campaigns continue to overshadow these revelations and make its drugs the most popular form of contraception on the market for young women today.
Although the realities about Bayer’s corporate integrity are disturbing, the severe physical consequence of these drugs is even more striking information that has been suppressed. Oral contraceptives are hormone-altering pills and can actually lead to permanent side effects, like the possibility of infertility. Originally introduced in the 1960’s, evidence today links the growing use of these oral contraceptives with the rise of cancer seen in U.S. women. Although easily dismissed by their harmless appearance, these drugs literally upset numerous significant aspects of life including sexuality, emotional wellbeing and physical health.

The number of grievances against oral contraceptive companies, exemplified by pending Yaz lawsuit, illustrates just how serious the health consequences of these pills are. Users of Yaz, the most popular oral contraceptive today, have experienced severe side effects, including death. Heart attack, stroke, blood clots, pulmonary embolisms and gallbladder disease are just some of the other consequences that have been linked to oral contraceptive use.

The recent oral contraceptive crisis is largely the result of rampant misconception and a serious decay of national morality. Because pregnancy is the most visible unintended consequence of sex and it carries such a negative stigma, young women tend to become preoccupied with preventing it, although permanent health consequences like disease and damaging drug side effects are far worse. In addition, the blind promotion of these highly-profitable drugs has further accelerated moral decay through the acceptance of repulsive sexual frankness throughout American culture. Furthermore, these drugs have led to the blatant disrespect towards life that liberal politics promote. Children are effectively labeled as an inconvenience by those supporting abortion and oral contraceptives. However, until our culture recognizes the gift children are and the value of life, physically, morally and emotionally destructive sexual practices will continue to threaten the health of young women and drag this country to the lowest depths of depravity.

Following is a revised and updated version of an article I posted several months ago. It is appropriate to post it at this time with only a few days left until the election on November 2, 2010.

The Culture of Death is in the process of destroying our beloved republic. This culture hates America and what it stands for. A major part of the Culture of Death is the powerful abortion industry, which donates millions to pro-abortion candidates. And that is what is responsible for the mind set of the Obama administration. That was the driving force of Acorn, mostly controlled by women who are pro-choice. That was the driving force behind the voter registration drive by Acorn, resulting in massive voter fraud, which has so far been hidden by the liberal press, but will eventually be revealed. Nothing so massive can be hidden for long. Yet, they have plans for doing it again to get their own culture of death candidates elected.

The corruption of Acorn, the massive registering and vote fraud has been since revealed. The pro-abortion people in charge of Acorn have serious problems with integrity. And many of the pro-abortion Democrats see noting wrong with Acorn’s methods. After all, they are of the same mind–the mind that believes the end justifies the means. This mind is in various state’s Democrat governors, secretaries of State, and Attorneys General, who are covering up and supporting voting fraud in their states.

It is the mind set supporting embryonic stem cell research, even though no positive results have emerged as with adult stem cell research. Their real goal is cloning for body parts, for which they hope to overturn state laws against cloning.” The mind-set of the pro-abortionists is so pervasive, it affects all aspects of life, political, social, and religious.

It is the mind-set behind granting the powerful and rich pornography industry protection behind the first amendment, which was designed to give church and the press freedom of religious and political expression. Pornography destroy thousands of lives each year through broken marriages,
in which the wife becomes less and less the true object of the husband’s love as the one who becomes addicted to pornography turns to outside sources of sexual satisfaction, and in cases of where the individual is unstable to sexual criminal activity.

We now see the power of that central government in taking over our banking system and determining who should run our corporations, destroying our economy. They turn up their noses at the God-given gift of abundant oil under our soil, and buy from foreign sources, many who hate us. They condemn the use of coal, one of the cheapest and most economical way to heat our homes and run industry.

Next, this culture of death will attempt to take away the second amendment–our right to bear arms, and our freedom of speech, as they want no opposition. This is already happening in so-called hate crimes laws. And they are aided and abetted by the liberal news media, which has violated its fourth estate privileges of free speech by becoming a part of this pro-choice agenda.

The culture of death mind is a mind that is bent on death. In her Woman and the New Race, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, stated, The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it. She was involved in eugenics.

What some may not realize is that the same poisonous philosophy that infected Hitler also influenced Margaret Sanger. She said Charles Darwin observed "that we do not permit helpless human beings to die off, but we create philanthropies and charities, build asylums and hospitals and keep the medical profession busy preserving those who could not otherwise survive." Her view was that such philanthropies and charities were "ameliorative" at best, and that some so-called benevolences were "positively injurious to the community and the future of the race." What she, and others like her are saying, we can save money taking care of them by killing them prior to birth.

The far majority of President Obama’s appointees are pro-choice, aka pro-abortion. They are presently, with their administrative policies, killing our economy, killing our constitution, killing our republic, killing our way of life, killing state’s rights, killing capitalism which made our country great, killing our freedoms one freedom at a time, and continuing to kill our pre-born to the tune of 4,000 per day, and are in favor of euthanasia, the killing of the elderly.

The Culture of Death is pervasive, extending its tentacles into every facet of life, preparing our nation for a takeover by Marxists, the ultimate culture of death philosophy.

On November 2nd, we will have our last opportunity to peacefully turn things around and to take our beloved country back. We need to go to the polls in massive numbers to overcome vote fraud. If we fail, the second amendment will be our only recourse. We must preserve it at all cost.

Don't Expect Democrats to Take the Coming Conservative Tsunami Peacefully

As soon as our conservative friends take their seats in congress, the Democrats will make an attempt to intimidate them. They are already telling the poor that Republicans will take away their benefits. They are telling African-Americans they will take away what gains they have made under the Democrats.

What gains? Black unemployment is higher in comparison to White unemployment than it was 18 months ago. That they will 'whack,' 'cut,' and repeal all that the Obama administration has done for them.

However, from what I've seen so far from the left, including Liberal Democrats, They don't like it a bit when they do not get their way. Look what happened recently when Bill O'Reilly went on The View. Joy Behar and Whoopie Goldberg stomped out of the room in a tantrum when Mr. O'Reilly disagreed with them.

Every time the Republicans block some progressive legislation, with help from some Democrats no doubt, they will take it to some of their 400 special interest group supporters, and they will take it to the street and demonstrate, i.e.; they will throw an orchestrated tantrum. They have done this for years, and they won't change now.

We are in for a very interesting time just ahead of us.

The Real Purpose in Embryonic Stem Cell Research

In the face of mounting evidence that the only success with stem cell research is with adult stem cells, why do the Democrats insist on continuing with embryonic stem cell research? They continually insist not only going forward with embryonic stem cell research, but that it be taxpayer funded.

“Though embryonic stem cells have been purported as holding great medical promise, reports of actual clinical success have been few. Instead, scientists conducting research on embryonic stem cells have encountered significant obstacles—including tumor formation, unstable gene expression, and an inability to stimulate the cells to form the desired type of tissue. It may indeed be telling that some biotechnology companies have chosen not to invest financially in embryonic stem cell research and some scientists have elected to focus their research exclusively on non-embryonic stem cell research.” Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity.

We can see from the above, that some scientists have found that their investments have not met with success. Is it an wonder then, that the Democrats want to have their cake and eat it too–to work with embryonic stem cells and have you and I pay for it.

We now see the power of that central government in taking over our banking system and determining who should run our corporations. Next, this central government will attempt to take away the second amendment–our right to bear arms, and our freedom of speech, as they want no opposition. This is already happening in so-called hate crimes laws. And they are aided and abetted by the liberal news media, which has violated its fourth estate privileges of free speech by becoming a part of this pro-choice agenda.

The pro-abortion mind is a mind that is bent on death. In her Woman and the New Race, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, stated, The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it. She was involved in eugenics.

What some may not realize is that the same poisonous philosophy that infected Hitler also influenced Margaret Sanger. She said Charles Darwin observed "that we do not permit helpless human beings to die off, but we create philanthropies and charities, build asylums and hospitals and keep the medical profession busy preserving those who could not otherwise survive." Her view was that such philanthropies and charities were "ameliorative" at best, and that some so-called benevolences were "positively injurious to the community and the future of the race." What she, and others like her are saying, we can save money taking care of them by killing them prior to birth.

The far majority of President Obama’s appointees are pro-choice, aka pro-abortion. They are presently, with their administrative policies, killing our economy, killing our constitution, killing our republic, killing our way of life, killing state’s rights, killing capitalism which made our country great, killing our freedoms one freedom at a time, and continuing to kill our pre-born to the tune of 4,000 per day.

You can see these things continuing to progress since the posting of my original article. They will continue to find ways to destroy the first amendment through hate crimes laws based on what we say. Mayor Bloomberg of New York, and others will continue to hack away at the second amendment rights to own and bear weapons. They will not give up and they want nothing to hinder their move toward socialism.

On November 2nd, we will have our last opportunity to peacefully turn things around and to take our beloved country back. If we fail, the second amendment will be our only recourse. We must preserve it at all cost.

The amendment clearly states that congress is not to establish a state religion, and goes on toe clarify it by including, or abridging the free exercise thereof;... The left is deliberately myopic in certain phraseology in the amendment.

The fourteenth amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.The amendment was designed to grant citizenship to and protect the civil liberties of recently freed slaves.

This amendment guaranteed the rights of freed slaves born in the United States, or naturalized, full rights of citizens under the constitution. The left has used it for anything and everything they want rights given to, constitutional or not.

No doubt, the voters of California will not take Judge Vaughn Walker's decision lying down. We will hear from them again.

Those who believe in taking the life of pre-born humans, yet prostate themselves to preserving whales, the spotted owl, and radical environmental ideas, which have resulted in our current gulf oil leak crisis, do not have the mental ability to govern. Abortion, as always, will be one of the most contentious issues in the upcoming confirmation hearings over President Obama’s nomination of Solicitor General Elena Kagan for a position on the US Supreme Court.

The hearings come just weeks after the Nebraska legislature passed the strictest abortion laws in the country when it prohibited abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. This new law will probably be challenged in court, and proponents of the measure hope that the Supreme Court will eventually agree to take the case and use the opportunity to redefine life.

September 11th, 2001, the twin towers were struck by two American airline planes. We refer to that incident as '911' for a reason. We believe it was a call for help. In the following weeks, churches were filled. But a little over a year later, it was business as usual. Did we forget so soon?

On November 4, 2008, we elected a president who seems to favor the Islamic religion more than he does Christianity. How many realize God placed him in that position, whether by the will of the people or massive vote fraud, it makes no difference. Daniel 4, verse 17 states, 17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Various interpretations have been made on what "the basest of men" means, all the way from evil to humble. The Hebrews seems to mean 'the lowliest of station.' However, it is clear God set President Obama where he is.

Is this another warning, or another chance for us to change? This year's National Day of Prayer, albeit coming under fire, is our chance to pray for God's intervention, to pray for the repentance of those whom God calls by his name. In the Old Testament, the nation of Israel was called by God's name. Today, Christians are called by God's name, i.e., by the name of His Son, Jesus. If we repent, and call upon God, to seek his face, to repent of our sins, then God will heal the land--our land, the United States of America!

Why The President's Debt Commission Will Not Cut Our National Debt

On March 3, 2010, Boehner Called for the President’s Debt Commission to Open All Meetings to the Public, Report Final Recommendations by October . . . Give Americans a Chance to Read and React to Panel’s Recommendations Before Congress Votes on Them.

President Obama’s executive order establishing the commission requires the panel – which is co-chaired by former Sen. Alan Simpson (R-WY) and former White House chief of staff Erskine Bowles – to issue its final report by December 1, 2010. This raises the possibility that the commission’s recommendations would not be subject to proper public scrutiny before the Democratic Congress tries to jam through massive tax hikes that would destroy jobs.

“If we’re going to have a commission like this, it should be a commission that will work in the transparent, open, and accountable way that the American people deserve,” Boehner said. “All meetings should be open to the public, and final recommendations should be issued by October 1, 2010 to ensure the American people have adequate time to weigh in.” Read full article here.

All that will be accomplished will be some token trimming of some lackluster programs. Don't expect taxpayer funding for abortion to be eliminated from the spending, nor a host of other programs inserted due to earmarks. Expect some back door added spending.

However, as Boehner states, it would not be a surprise if the debt panel recommends tax hikes to add income for popular left wing spending programs. Topeka, KS (LifeNews.com) -- The Kansas state House approved a bill that would mandate that the Kansas health department obey the state's late-term abortion law. The House approved HB 2215 83-36, one vote shy of a veto proof majority and now the bill goes to Governor Parkinson, who may veto it.

The Senate approved the measure hours before the House on a 24-15 margin.

Chairman's vote decided the fate of SCR 1626

Although the Health Care Freedom language failed to pass in the Senate Judiciary Committee again today on a tied vote, HCR 5032, which is identical to SCR 1626, will be debated on the House floor Monday.

The motion that failed today in committee would have converted Senate Concurrent Resolution 1626 from a constitutional amendment format to a statutory format in a new bill, with a resulting name change of "Health Care Freedom Act." According to some constitutional scholars, it wouldn't matter whether a challenge to the federal government by the state was based on a constitutional amendment or a state law — the result would be similar.

The House counterpart to SCR 1626 is House Concurrent Resolution 5032. Each of the measures seek to provide Kansas residents with the ability to choose which type of health care they want to receive — despite any federal health-care mandates that could become law.

The legislation would not preclude Kansans from being able to participate in any federal health-care proposal that could become law.

Legislation promoting the Health Care Freedom Amendment would need to be passed in both chambers with a two-thirds majority before the provision could be placed on the ballot for Kansans to vote on in 2010. If adopted, the Kansas Health Care Freedom Amendment would be added to the state constitution.

If the format is changed to statutory language instead, it would need to pass by a constitutional majority in each House to become law, a much lower hurdle.

SCR 1626, as a proposed constitutional amendment, failed to pass out of committee yesterday on a tied 4-4 vote. Prior to failing as a constitutional amendment Sen. John Vratil, R-Leawood, attempted to change the measure to a simple resolution that would only send a message to the federal government. Vratil's measure also failed. However, the Judiciary Chair Sen. Tim Owens, R-Overland Park, agreed to bring the measure up for debate again today.

The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Mary Pilcher-Cook, R-Shawnee, made a motion for the legislation to be changed to a statutory format because the proposed constitutional amendment had failed the day before. This motion would have created language in the bill that would have created a state law to protect Kansas citizen's freedom to provide for their health care, but it would not have given citizens an opportunity to vote for the measure on the ballot.

Pilcher-Cook is publisher of Kansas Liberty.

Pilcher-Cook’s motion failed on a 5-5 vote, as a bill needs at least a one vote advantage to be passed out of committee. Sen. David Haley, D-Kansas City, was absent.

Senators voting to pass the bill out of committee included:
Derek Schmidt, R-Independence; Julia Lynn, R-Olathe; Terry Bruce, R-Hutchinson; Mary Pilcher-Cook, R-Shawnee; Les Donovan, R-Wichita

Senators voting against the measure included:
Dwayne Umbarger, R-Thayer; Laura Kelly, D-Topeka; John Vratil, R-Leawood; Jean Schodorf, R-Wichita; and Tim Owens, R-Overland Park.

Yesterday the vote was also tied, with a count of 4-4. Schodorf and Donovan were absent from yesterday’s vote and Owens did not vote.

Legislators who serve as chair of a committee traditionally do not vote while in committee unless they need to break a tie. Owens’ actions were unusual as he not only abstained from voting to break the tie in Thursday’s meeting, but he then voted to defeat the measure in today’s meeting.

Without Owens’ vote today, the measure would have passed.

Owens did not return Kansas Liberty’s request for comment.

In a statement to Kansas residents who have asked Umbarger why he voted against the Health Care Freedom Amendment, Umbarger somewhat dodged the question. In his response, the Republican from Thayer said that he did not support the motion to place SCR 1626 into a gutted House bill because “it would have put this language into state statutory law, which would have not given the people of Kansas the right to vote on the resolution.”

However, yesterday Umbarger actually voted in favor of Vratil's motion that would have changed the language of the bill so that it could only be used as a statement, and would not contain the ability for Kansas voters to decide whether to amend the state’s constitution. Afterwards, Umbarger voted against passing out SCR 1626 as a constitutional amendment, which would have given Kansas voters "the right to vote" for the amendment to the state constitution.

Today, Umbarger voted against converting SCR 1626 to statutory language.

Greg Ward, co-founder of the Kansas 9.12 Project and founder of the Kansas Sovereignty Coalition, was disappointed in the outcome, but said he was especially concerned about the actions of the Republican members who voted against the measure.

“I am amazed at the number of Republicans working to limit the liberties we have instead of limiting the overreaching government on both the federal and state level that seeks more and more control of our lives,” Ward told Kansas Liberty.

The Kansas Sovereignty Coalition and the Kansas 9.12 project have worked to increase awareness of legislative attempts to free Kansans from being forced to comply with federal regulations. These organizations, in addition to other local groups such as Political Chips, are planning to rally at the Statehouse next Monday when the House debates House Concurrent Resolution 5032. This measure is identical to SCR 1626.

This legislation is also designed so that it can be used to protect Kansans from having to comply with federal mandates that could become law, such as the requirement to force every United States resident to purchase health insurance. During committee hearings on these bills, law professors explained how mandating health insurance coverage would be unconstitutional. HCR 5032 passed out of the House Health and Human Services Committee in March with a 12-9 vote. The House vote fell largely along party lines.

Tonight, the House of Representatives Shredded the Constitution

Tonight, I witnessed the beginning of the end of the U.S. Constitution unless a miracle happens. The House passed Obama's health care bill.

As a former employee of a state affiliate of the Department of Labor for more than 20 years, I can make a comparison to the Carter years, and this bill will cost us thousands of jobs. The only measurable increase in employment will be in federal employment with the eventual hiring of 15,000 additional IRS workers to monitor the health care program. Had the Obama administration not hired thousands of people for federal jobs, the unemployment rate would be higher than it presently is. I believe the unemployment rate will either remain the same or increase for the rest of this year.

Thousands upon thousands of doctors will now retire or resign--as the polls suggested, some to go to government medical facilities, others to sign up with the IRS, and many to retire.

The government has now nationalized banks, become part owners in the automobile industry and insurance companies, and now an additional 18% of the economy.

Industry will not employ workers, even if they are needed, when they have to spend much of their income in taxes. The Caterpiller CEO has estimated that it will cost them an additional $100,000 dollars a month for their employee health insurance program.

The next step is up the the states, many of which are planning on immediately filing a lawsuit in federal court claiming the bill is unconstitutional. I believe it will eventually end up in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Then, the next step is up to the voters on November 2nd, 2010, just six and a half months from now.

The Democrats pushing the socialistic so-called health care bill are actually Progressives. I was a 'classic liberal' Democrat years ago, but as the progressives crept in, I left the party, and became an independent. The progressives are not that interested in your health care, but in acquiring more control over your life.

The health care, under the bill they are considering, will not kick in for three years. But, the taxes for it will begin immediately. How will this help those who need health care now? It will not. It is hypocrisy and lies!

President Obama and almost all of his appointees are pro-choice, i.e., abortion-on-demand. They are driving the administrative train. Hidden in the health care bill is some back door that will allow tax-supported abortions. Planned Parenthood comes out with conflicting statements whether they support or won't support the bill, but make no mistake. They support it in general; their only problem in with certain aspects of it.

How can anyone who supports the wholesale killing of the pre-born be trusted? They can not. They care not for the pains and problems for people. They only want control, so they, the elite who know better than we, can force their false solutions on the rest of us. And they will lie and misrepresent to attain their goals.

We, the citizens of the United States are being taken for an expensive ride. This November, we need to change drivers in both houses of congress.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius contradicted herself on abortion funding in the Senate health care bill in a Sunday interview on NBC's "Meet the Press." Sebelius applauded the Senate language before and talked about mandatory abortion fees, but now she claims there is no funding.

Sebelius also appeared to contradict herself within the interview, saying at one point that abortion funding is a part of the government-run health care bill.

Sebelius was asked whether the Senate bill would be fixed to top the massive abortion funding it contains and other pro-abortion problems.

"There is no federal money paying for abortions," President Barack Obama's top health care spokeswoman maintained. "That's just not my statement, it is what, you know, a legal analyst who has looked at the Senate bill, it's what the fact checkers who look at the statements say."

Yet, when she spoke with ABC's "This Week" program yesterday, she said "Yes, abortion services are provided" under the Senate health care bill. Read story here.

Here we go again. I'm convinced I want nothing to do with anything passed by this congress and signed into law by President Obama. They can not be believed; they misrepresent; they lie, and do anything to get the health bill and other detrimental legislation passed.

A Moment of Decision for Americans on Health Care

Yesterday, I posted this on my other blog (click on the title in bold below 'Check out my Constitution Blog' at the right). But, since Obama's new proposed health bill still has provision for taxpayer funding for abortion, I thought it appropriate to post it here also.

Yesterday, I heard President Obama deliver a speech trying to convince the Republicans, Independents, Conservative Democrats, and the American Public, that his modified health care is what the people want, and congress should pass it with an up or down vote, i.e., the nuclear option: conciliation--50 plus one vote in the senate.

No. He just attended the summit with the Republicans and he did not hear a word they said to him. Adding a point of two they suggested is not 'bi-partisan.' He said they debated the bill over and over. Not true. The Republicans were shut out, and in some cased the doors were shut against them.

Polls now definately show that the majority of Americans want to either start over from scratch, or drop it altogether. Yet, he and the progressive Democrats still want to jam it down the throats of Americans.

The President presents a special burden to Christians in this country. We are asked in scripture to pray for him, which I do daily. I do not require my president or congress to agree with me on everything, even if on only a few things. What really bothers me is that I can no longer trust anything my government or the president tells me.

I am a former Democrat, now 78, who quit the party some years ago as they 1) no longer represent the 'classic liberalism' of our forefathers, 2) they have been hijacked by progressives, 3) they have resorted to misleading and or outright lying about issues, and 4) they no longer seem to listen to or have any respect for those who placed them there.

Consequently, I no longer want our government to do anything more for me or to me. I can no longer afford my government. Most have to be removed this November, most Democrats and those Republicans who do not have the cajones to speak out against the chicanery in Washington.

But, good may come out of this. We may actually be able to clean house, as I am beginning to see others as fed up as I am. And after we toss them out, we need to bring charges against them for illegal legislation passed against the principles of the Constitution. Do we have the guts to do this?
