Pro-Life New Year’s Resolution: De-Fund Abortion, Planned Parenthood

When it comes to making New Year’s resolutions, pro-life organization have one they definitely intend to keep: pressing for bills in Congress to de-fund abortion and Planned Parenthood.

“This is the time of year when we look forward to a new year with hope and anticipation. It’s the perfect time for making a list of resolutions to achieve greater life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” says Americans United for Life president Charmaine Yoest.

Saying the new pro-life controlled House of Representatives presents “opportunities opening up for the mission of defending life,” Yoest says her group has “very specific plans to work toward advancing our resolutions.” Read entire story here.

The ACLU has again asked the Obama administration to force Catholic and other religiously-affiliated hospitals to do abortions in cases where the mother’s life is supposedly in danger. Read article in LifeNews.Com

This followed an abortion performed by a Phoenix-based Catholic hospital. This action resulted in the revocation as a Catholic hospital by the bishop.

Here we have an organization which does not want anyone else, especially Christians, to do anything that offends anyone else, or to enforce their beliefs on others, that wants to enforce by law a hospital to perform abortions against their will. It seems like they are taking advantage of a poor decision made by the hospital in performing the abortion.

The ACLU, under the disguise of protecting the freedom of speech, is the one greatest impediment of the freedom of speech or freedom of conscience.

I look forward in the future for two things to happen. One, that someone with the means to sustain a long-running lawsuit against the ACLU to break it financially, and the subsequent dissolution of the ACLU. This organization has done the most moral damage against this country to date. They are responsible for much of the pornography that exists on the internet and in adult book stores, and the resultant child predators that are created as a result.

Judge Rules Pro-Abortion ObamaCare Law Unconstitutional

A federal judge issued a ruling today on a Virginia lawsuit against the ObamaCare health care law that allows abortion funding and he said the program is unconstitutional in part.

The ruling makes the district court the first federal court in the nation to strike down a portion of the ObamaCare law and it goes against rulings other courts have issued striking down other lawsuits.

The key issue in the complaint the state of Virginia filed is that the individual mandate in the law, requiring Americans to purchase health insurance (which may very well fund abortions) is unconstitutional and a violation of the power Congress has to regulate interstate commerce. Jeffrey Bell: Return America to the Gold Standard

This is something I have supported for years. Returning to the gold standard would solve many of our financial problems. Returning to the gold standard should also be accompanied with the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and dissolution of the Federal Reserve System. It would make borrowing much more difficult without proper need. It would make the money our our pockets real money, i.e., real value. These measures, along with term limits, would be instrumental in removing a lot of the temptation among our elected representatives toward corruption.

Joe Scheidler is a name pro-life advocates know because he has been one of the leaders of the pro-life movement for decades. Scheidler has become a frequent target of pro-abortion activist and now his home has been vandalized.

His home was attacked in the middle of the night, at approximately 2:00 a.m., with an abortion advocate throwing bricks of asphalt through two front windows. Read article at Lifenews.com.

In past posts, I have pointed out that those on the left, most who are immersed in the culture of death mentality, are anything but tolerant. Yet they claim the conservatives in the pro-life movement are not tolerant and they refer to them as 'hypocrites.'

Well, we can see here, who are the real hypocrites.

One of them contained a threatening note making it clear the source of the vandalism supports legalized abortions

“We are crazy feminist bi***** who will destroy your sexist ideas,” a note, containing an anarchist sign and scrawled in a child-like writing, said.

“P.S. I’ve had an abortion and no laws could ever stop me,” the note continued. “You can’t make Queen Anne’s lace illegal, a******.” The story continues.

What else can we expect from those who can kill a pre-born baby in the womb without any compunction at all.
