Pro-Abortion Women: We Need Men to Salvage the "Pro-Choice" Movement

Maybe the pro-abortion forces are seeing the handwriting on the wall:

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Newsweek recently interviewed the president of NARAL about its research showing the next two generation of Americans are more pro-life than the ones before them. In a follow-up to the article, Newsweek interviewed several different young pro-abortion activists.

They, and NARAL president Nancy Keenan, agreed on one theme: they need men to save the future of the pro-abortion women's movement. Read article.
Now is the time for pro-life forces to not weaken, but to continue to work toward ridding the land of this barbaric procedure.

Sadly this is no longer an isolated incident. Studies and common sense observations indicate that large segments of societies secular and sacred institutions have been compromised and captivated by Internet and wireless cell phone pornography.

Thank God the secular media is reporting the obvious problem of porn addiction, its negative impact and fantasy driven criminal behavior. Such reporting is truly the "rocks crying out" kind of stuff.

Former New York Gov. George Pataki is leading a national effort to repeal Obamacare.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Pataki said he is launching the effort because the recent healthcare plan signed into law by President Barack Obama imposes the heavy hand of the federal government into the healthcare decisions of all Americans, contrary to the great traditions of the United States.

The popular conservative Republican who was thrice elected to the Empire State’s governorship, has just launched a new organization, RevereAmerica.org, a group Pataki says is aimed at promoting American traditions such as personal freedom and free enterprise. See article at Newsmax.com

Has Planned Parenthood Changed its Stripes?

Racism, Eugenics and Planned Parenthood’s Origins
By Steve LeMaster
Published: April 21st, 2010

Compare these two statements below and ask yourself who made them:

“Our starting point is not the individual, and we do not subscribe to the view that one should feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, or clothe the naked … Our objectives are entirely different: We must have a healthy people in order to prevail in the world.”

“the most urgent problem today is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective. Possibly drastic and Spartan methods may be forced upon American society if it continues complacently to encourage the chance and chaotic breeding that has resulted from our stupid, cruel sentimentalism.”

If you said Joseph Goebbels and Margaret Sanger, you’d be correct.

After the full extent of the macabre horrors that took place in the Nazi death camps were revealed to the world, the American Birth Control League quietly changed its name to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Or what we know today as Planned Parenthood and what was really impressive was how swift and silent this change took place. Read entire article from The Layman's Corner here.
One might wonder why many Planned Parenthood's clinics are located in minority neighborhoods. One might wonder why 40 per cent of all abortions in the United States are performed on black women, when they constitute six per cent of the population.
“The number one taker of black life is abortion, and it’s time people woke up to that fact. The location of this latest Planned Parenthood facility in yet another minority neighborhood is a part of the continuing fulfillment of the racist, eugenicist dream of their founder, Margaret Sanger, but it is a travesty of the American dream. Planned Parenthood’s agenda discards the principle that we are all created equal, which is the basis of liberty for all Americans.” - Alan Keyes. Source
One should no longer worry. It is obvious that those who pretend to be a friend of African-Americans are hypocrites in the worst sense of the meaning.

Why The President's Debt Commission Will Not Cut Our National Debt

On March 3, 2010, Boehner Called for the President’s Debt Commission to Open All Meetings to the Public, Report Final Recommendations by October . . . Give Americans a Chance to Read and React to Panel’s Recommendations Before Congress Votes on Them.
President Obama’s executive order establishing the commission requires the panel – which is co-chaired by former Sen. Alan Simpson (R-WY) and former White House chief of staff Erskine Bowles – to issue its final report by December 1, 2010. This raises the possibility that the commission’s recommendations would not be subject to proper public scrutiny before the Democratic Congress tries to jam through massive tax hikes that would destroy jobs.

“If we’re going to have a commission like this, it should be a commission that will work in the transparent, open, and accountable way that the American people deserve,” Boehner said. “All meetings should be open to the public, and final recommendations should be issued by October 1, 2010 to ensure the American people have adequate time to weigh in.” Read full article here.
All that will be accomplished will be some token trimming of some lackluster programs. Don't expect taxpayer funding for abortion to be eliminated from the spending, nor a host of other programs inserted due to earmarks. Expect some back door added spending.

However, as Boehner states, it would not be a surprise if the debt panel recommends tax hikes to add income for popular left wing spending programs. No, we've seen enough from this administration to know that this is another exercise in futility. It is only posturing in order to placate the complaining electorate.

Support for Repeal of Pro-Abortion Health Care Rises as Obama Approval Hits New Low

by Steven Ertelt

April 12, 2010

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- New polling data from Rasmussen Reports shows the percentage of Americans supporting the repeal of the pro-abortion health care bill President Barack Obama signed into law is increasing. Meanwhile, Obama's own approval rating has hit a new low, according to polling data from Gallup that now has more Americans disapproving than approving. Read More at LifeNews.

It is now becoming possible that due to the disappearing support of Obamacare, some congressional Democrats may think twice about voting against the public in other far left supported economic and employment matters. Let's hope so. But the big changes will come in November.

Sarah Palin Was Right on Death Panels Under the Recently Passed Health Bill

Even a Prominent Liberal Admits Palin was right on Death Panels in spite of liberal media to the contrary

An excerpt from Sarah Palin’s Facebook comments on “Death Panels.”
. . .The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil. . .

Pants on Fire!
Seniors and the disabled "will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care."

Sarah Palin, Friday, August 7th, 2009. A winner in our "Lie of the Year" contest!

Of all the falsehoods and distortions in the political discourse this year, one stood out from the rest.

"Death panels."

The claim set political debate afire when it was made in August, raising issues from the role of government in health care to the bounds of acceptable political discussion. In a nod to the way technology has transformed politics, the statement wasn't made in an interview or a television ad. Sarah Palin posted it on her Facebook page.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Now that President Barack Obama has signed the pro-abortion health care bill into law, a supporter of his has admitted the rationing components in it. During an appearance on ABC's "This Week" Paul Krugman admits some of the concerns that pro-life groups pointed out during the debate.

Krugman claims accurately that the cost/benefit board established over private medicine by the new health care program will be able to impose “more or less binding judgments” refusing care. Read article here. . .

All we get from the administration and their sicophant liberal news media are lies and more lies. What will have to happen before more of the public realizes they are being swindled big time, and they will have to pay for it.

March 31, 2010

Topeka, KS (LifeNews.com) -- The Kansas state House approved a bill that would mandate that the Kansas health department obey the state's late-term abortion law. The House approved HB 2215 83-36, one vote shy of a veto proof majority and now the bill goes to Governor Parkinson, who may veto it.

The Senate approved the measure hours before the House on a 24-15 margin.

This is the fifth year in a row the legislature has sent a similar bill to the governor's desk attempting to stop late-term abortions and ensuring any done in the state follow current laws limiting them. Governor Kathleen Sebelius vetoed previous versions. Read entire article here.
